A brief overview of rule changes for the 2016 Michigan Walleye Tour season

MWT teams may now consist of one, two or three team members.
Here we will post updates and news as well as responses to issues that have been brought forward. This page will be updated as the needed, so check back regularly.
Mandatory captains meeting (NO EXCEPTIONS) will be held the evening prior to the tournament at 6:00pm.
Both flights will have eight hours. The first flight will depart at 7:00 A.M. and must be OFF PLANE and waiting to receive a chip by 3:00 P.M. A horn will sound at 3:01announcing the time has expired. The second flight will depart at 7:45 A.M. and must be OFF PLANE and waiting to receive a chip by 3:45 P.M. A horn will sound at 3:46 announcing the time has expired.
No Fishing Area
There is no fishing allowed within 200 yards of the tournament live fish release site for all days of the tournament. Other boundaries and /or no fishing areas will be announced at the captains meeting.
There will be no re-weighing of fish. The weight stands that reads on the scales or by the discretion of the weigh master only.
Protests and Complaints
A protest / Complaint committee will be present at each tournament. The committee will consist of the Tournament Director and two Saginaw Bay Walleye Club board members. The board members names will be announced at each captains meeting. Take any protests / complaints to any or all of the three committee members.
